Ranunculus hydrocharoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California tenggara hingga New Mexico dan Guatemala. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan frogbit buttercup. Nama ilmiah Ranunculus hydrocharoides diperkenalkan oleh Asa Gray pada tahun 1855.
