Remya mauiensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Hawaii (Maui barat). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan maui remya. Nama ilmiah Remya mauiensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William (Wilhelm) Hillebrand pada tahun 1888.
