Reseda alba adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Resedaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania hingga Iran dan Eritrea. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white upright mignonette. Nama ilmiah Reseda alba diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
