Reseda luteola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Resedaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Afrika utara, Eropa, Asia tengah, hingga Pakistan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan weld. Nama ilmiah Reseda luteola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
