Restio durus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Restionaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya (Cedarberg selatan, Cold Bakkeveld utara). Nama ilmiah Restio durus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elsie Elizabeth Esterhuysen pada tahun 2010.
