Restio impolitus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Restionaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape barat daya (Provinsi Cape Flats hingga Olifants Rivier). Nama ilmiah Restio impolitus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1841.
