Rhaponticum carthamoides subsp. orientale adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Siberia. Nama ilmiah Rhaponticum carthamoides subsp. orientale diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Lydia Palladievna Sergievskaya pada tahun 1959.
