Rhaponticum nanum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Rhaponticum nanum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Vladimir Ippolitovich Lipsky pada tahun 1901.
