Rhodiola himalensis subsp. taohoensis merupakan tumbuhan semisukulen dari famili Crassulaceae yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik). Nama ilmiah Rhodiola himalensis subsp. taohoensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Shu Hsia Fu pada tahun 1982.
