Rhodocoma fruticosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Restionaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Rhodocoma fruticosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1985.
