Rhododendron aganniphum var. schizopeplum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tibet tenggara hingga China (Yunnan barat laut). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron aganniphum var. schizopeplum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1984.
