Rhododendron canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mountain azalea. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron canescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama André Michaux pada tahun 1830.
