Rhododendron erosum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tibet selatan hingga Arunachal Pradesh barat laut. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron erosum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Macqueen Cowan pada tahun 1937.
