Rhododendron heliolepis var. oporinum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Yunnan) hingga Myanmar utara. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron heliolepis var. oporinum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1982.
