Rhododendron hirtipes merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Tibet timur. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron hirtipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harry Frank Tagg pada tahun 1930.
