Rhododendron japonoheptamerum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron japonoheptamerum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Siro Kitamura pada tahun 1987.
