Rhododendron polytrichum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Guangxi timur laut, Hunan barat daya). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron polytrichum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wen-Pei Fang pada tahun 1983.
