EARLY AZALEA Rhododendronprinophyllum (Small) Millais
Rhododendron prinophyllum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan early azalea. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron prinophyllum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1917.
