Rhododendron scabrum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Nansei-shoto. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron scabrum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Don pada tahun 1834.
