Rhododendron shimianense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron shimianense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wen-Pei Fang pada tahun 1982.
