Rhodoscirpus asper adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Rhodoscirpus asper diperkenalkan oleh Jan Svatopluk Presl pada tahun 2015.
