Rhodothyrsus macrophyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Rhodothyrsus macrophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adolpho Ducke pada tahun 1999.
