Rhodotypos scandens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China utara utara dan timur hingga Korea, Jepang selatan-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan jetbead. Nama ilmiah Rhodotypos scandens diperkenalkan oleh Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1913.
