Rhynchocorys elephas adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan hemiparasit dari famili Orobanchaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tenggara, Iran, hingga Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Rhynchocorys elephas pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1844.
