Rhynchospora alba adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah belahan bumi utara yang beriklim sedang . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora alba diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Martin Vahl pada tahun 1805.
