Rhynchospora amazonica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora amazonica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Friedrich Poeppig pada tahun 1837.
