Rhynchospora caduca merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan anglestem beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora caduca diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Stephen Elliott pada tahun 1816.
