Rhynchospora chalarocephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian timur-tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan loosehead beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora chalarocephala diperkenalkan oleh Merritt Lyndon Fernald pada tahun 1940.
