Rhynchospora compressa merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan flatfruit beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora compressa diperkenalkan oleh John Carey pada tahun 1860.
