Rhynchospora crispa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba timur. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora crispa diperkenalkan oleh Shirley Gale Cross pada tahun 1944.
