Rhynchospora distichophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Rio de Janeiro hingga Santa Catarina). Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora distichophylla diperkenalkan oleh Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1879.
