Rhynchospora elliottii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Texas, Bahama. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora elliottii diperkenalkan oleh Albert Gottfried Dietrich pada tahun 1833.
