Rhynchospora gracilenta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slender beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora gracilenta diperkenalkan oleh Asa Gray pada tahun 1835.
