Rhynchospora harveyi var. culixa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Georgia hingga Florida. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan georgia beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora harveyi var. culixa diperkenalkan oleh Shirley Gale Cross pada tahun 1999.
