Rhynchospora intermixta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Amerika tengah, Karibia. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora intermixta diperkenalkan oleh Charles Wright pada tahun 1871.
