Rhynchospora leucostachys merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tengah hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora leucostachys diperkenalkan oleh Johann Otto Boeckeler pada tahun 1896.
