Rhynchospora macra merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan large beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora macra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1933.
