YERBA DE ESTRELLA Rhynchosporanervosa (Vahl) Boeckeler
Rhynchospora nervosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yerba de estrella. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora nervosa diperkenalkan oleh Martin Vahl pada tahun 1869.
