Rhynchospora perplexa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pineland beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora perplexa diperkenalkan oleh Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1903.
