Rhynchospora rubra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah kawasan tropis dan subtropis Afrika, Eropa dan Asia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rhynchospora. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora rubra diperkenalkan oleh João de Loureiro pada tahun 1903.
