Rhynchospora shaferi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba timur (Sierra de Nipe). Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora shaferi diperkenalkan oleh Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1917.
