Rhynchospora tenerrima merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan soldier beaksedge. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora tenerrima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1827.
