Ribes amarum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Grossulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bitter gooseberry. Nama ilmiah Ribes amarum pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1894.
