Ribes bracteosum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Grossulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Alaska selatan hingga California utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stink currant. Nama ilmiah Ribes bracteosum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Douglas pada tahun 1832.
