Ribes ceriferum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Grossulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Sonora, Durango, Chihuahua). Nama ilmiah Ribes ceriferum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Vernon Coville pada tahun 1905.
