Ribes chihuahuense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Grossulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Chihuahua). Nama ilmiah Ribes chihuahuense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1907.
