Ricinocarpos trachyphyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Queensland selatan, New South Wales tengah. Nama ilmiah Ricinocarpos trachyphyllus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David A. Halford pada tahun 2007.
