Ricinocarpos trichophyllus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Australia Barat bagian timur laut hingga Northern Territory barat laut. Nama ilmiah Ricinocarpos trichophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David A. Halford pada tahun 2007.
