Ricoa leptophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Ricoa leptophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 2022.
