Rigiopappus leptocladus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan wireweed. Nama ilmiah Rigiopappus leptocladus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1865.
